AD | Golfers Look Forward To The 19th Hole At The Red House Hotel

Having promoted and showcased the high standard of golf available in the area for many years, including its most local course, Blairgowrie Golf Club, with its spectacular Rosemount and Lansdowne Courses, Coupar Angus’ Red House Hotel – the current holder of Best Budget Friendly Golf Hotel in the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards 2024 – has just had its most successful May yet, in terms of the numbers of golfing groups who have stayed last month.

Blairgowrie Golf Club is now offering Saturday tee times, as well as midweek, to Red House Hotel’s golfing short break guests who are staying under its fantastic Golf & Stay packages which offer an accommodation & food rate with a preferential golfing rate on a number of courses.

Sean Davidson, Assistant Managing Secretary from Blairgowrie Golf Club, came along to inspect the high quality local produce golfers staying at the Red House Hotel can expect.

Sean said: “We are delighted to offer Red House Hotel golfing guests the opportunity to golf on our two multiple rated courses at Blairgowrie Golf Club on a Saturday. The Red House Hotel is the ideal place at which to stay to enjoy golf in the area – their packages are great value for money, and I can see how well golfers are looked after here in terms of the 19th hole – delicious food & drink, and an experienced group of staff looking after them.”

“The Red House Hotel has put so much work and effort into building its golfing clientele over the years, putting Blairgowrie on the map. It continues to bring so many golfers to the area.”

“We’re still on a high from our success at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, it was fabulous to get another win in these awards in which we have traditionally performed well against stiff competition,” he added.

Red House Hotel Assistant Manager, Sarah Cooper, pictured 1st left, said “ The positive and collaborative relationships we have with the golf clubs in our area has certainly helped us build our reputation, year on year, as an affordable and welcoming place to come, to enjoy a traditional golfing short break.”

“We’re still on a high from our success at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, it was fabulous to get another win in these awards in which we have traditionally performed well against stiff competition,” she added.

She finished by saying:  “Let's hope for a very busy summer season where we all prosper and boost the local economy at the same time.”

The Red House Hotel’s Golf and Stay package starts from £125 per person for bed & breakfast, and one round of golf at Alyth Golf Club, rising to £372 per person for two nights DBB, and three rounds of golf over Lansdowne, Rosemount and Ladybank, please check the website for current details.
