We are a husband and wife team who love all things Perthshire. Generally, Nathan does the magazine photography and Abi does the writing, but sometimes we like to switch things around!
A Brief History
We started The Perthshire Magazine in the spring of 2017 and it was mainly born from our respective hobbies of photography and writing and our mutual love of Perthshire.
When we first had the idea we weren’t at all sure it would work, so we trialled it by launching first on Instagram. A few days and multiple enquiries later we decided there probably was a market for a local online magazine! We’ve been publishing ever since.
In 2021 we started getting a new kind of enquiry — requests for help with social media and other aspects of digital marketing. This led to the creation of The Perthshire Media Co, of which this magazine has now become a part.
We love helping local businesses with promotion, whether that’s simply low-cost advertising within The Perthshire Magazine or working together as a team to tell their story.
