I’ve been wanting to go to Branklyn Garden at this season for two years now, and we finally managed it! Was it worth the wait?

We especially love to explore the lovely independent shops and cafes that there’s such an abundance of here, all offering something different but delicious. Dunkeld has becoming something of a foodie paradise in recent years, and there’s something to suit all palates, with speciality cheeses, wines, smoked salmon, whiskies, pastries and breads available seemingly every few feet!

Spring is a wonderful time of year for new growth, and in May especially we see our woodlands, fields and hedgerows fully blossoming forth with fresh life and vibrant colour.

Holidays, lighter days and warmer weather make April an ideal month to explore Perthshire, and Blair Atholl is a great choice for a family day out
